Water advisory lifted for Aspinwall, Waterworks Mall

The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority on Sunday lifted a boil-water advisory for the Waterworks Mall and Apsinwall.

The authority continues to repair a 60-inch water main along the Allegheny Railroad track where the Route 8 on ramp connects to Route 28 in Etna. The authority expects repairs to be completed by the end of the week.

The break occurred about 11 a.m. Friday and caused low water pressure, leading to the boil-water advisory. No customers were without water, the authority said.
