State Police are asking for help investigating the death of an Evans City man found outside his auto repair shop Friday evening.

Robert Charles Gaurrich, 45, was found dead behind Bob's Truck and Auto Repair Service on Evans City Road. An autopsy determined that he died of a gunshot wound to the chest sometime between 4 and 11:30 p.m. Friday. The Butler County Coroner's Office ruled his death a homicide.

State police are asking anyone with information about anything suspicious at the business that day to call the Butler barracks at 724-284-8100.
