Fayette townships, boroughs host multiple races

Residents in Fayette County townships and boroughs will have quite a few races in which to cast votes in the May 21 primary election.

Bullskin

David Butler and Roy Thayer have filed petitions with the Fayette County Election Bureau seeking the Democratic nomination for a six-year term as Bullskin Township supervisor.

Several residents filed petitions for township tax collector, including Kylie Stouffer Carleton and Ginny Martin, both Republicans, and Democrats Louis Bell and Jeff Hann.

Auditor candidates include Mick Lilley and Jeffrey Martucci, both Democrats.

Linda Lewandowski, a Republican, is seeking a nomination for Judge of Elections for District 2, and Julie Weeks, a Democrat, is seeking nomination for Judge of Elections for District 3.

Republican Mark Allen Fiano and Democrat Donna Rae Connors are seeking nominations for Inspector of Elections for District 3.

Connellsville

Republican Betty Flynn and Democrat Shirley Noschese are seeking nominations for Inspector of Elections for Ward 3, and Rodney Haines, a Democrat, is the sole candidate for the Judge of Election for Ward 6.

Jackie Kimmel and Rita Nolan, both Democrats, will be seeking nominations for Inspector of Elections for Ward 6.

Connellsville Township

Donald Hann, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for Connellsville Township supervisor. Andrea Doppelheuer, a Republican, and Daralynn Dari Gilpin, a Democrat, are seeking their party nominations for tax collector.

Michelle Porter, a Republican, is seeking the nomination for Judge of Elections, and Elda Thompson, a Republican, and Daralynn Dari Gilpin are seeking nominations for the position of Inspector of Elections.

All candidates for positions in Connellsville Township are from Connellsville.

Dawson

Corrine McKnight, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for tax collector.

Dunbar Township

Democrats Chuck Clark, Vern Ohler and John “Toby” Tabaj are seeking their party's nomination for the six-year term of township supervisor.

Seeking party nominations for tax collector are Shelia Galliete, a Republican, and Marigrace Butela. Don Homer, a Democrat, is on the ballot for township auditor.

Deborah Martin, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for Judge of Elections for District 1, and Mary Hiles, a Republican, and Linda Nahar, a Democrat, are seeking party nominations for Inspector of Elections in District 1.

Sandra Murray, a Democrat, is on the ballot for Judge of Elections for District 2. Barbara Stuart, a Republican, and Mary Borda, a Democrat, are seeking nominations for Inspector of Elections.

Sandra Hough Crocetti, a Republican, is on the ballot for Judge of Elections for District 3, and Naomi Kubala, a Democrat, filed for the Judge of Elections for District 4.

Gladys Jean Anthony and Darlene Denny, both Democrats, are seeking nominations for Inspector of Elections for District 5.

Dunbar

Tammy Nedrow, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for tax collector.

Everson

Bryan Raygor and Vera Stevens, both Republicans, and Mindy Dugger, Dale “Bones” Lochinger, Virginia Sherbondy and James Wolak, all Democrats, are seeking their party's nomination for tax collector.

Penny Lochinger, a Republican, is on the ballot for auditor, and Karen Christner, a Republican, and Darlene Osniak, a Democrat, are seeking nominations for Inspector of Elections.

Lower Tyrone

Dennis Davis, a Republican, is seeking the party nomination for township supervisor.

Linda Cottom, a Democrat, is a candidate for tax collector, and Meghan Leary, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for auditor.

June Murtland, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for Judge of Elections, and Sharon Ferris, a Republican, and Joanne Leary, a Democrat, are seeking nominations for Inspector of Elections.

Perry Township

Janet Galla, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for the six-year term of township supervisors.

Donald Pidanich, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for tax collector, and Sara Sickle, a Republican, and Pam Newmeyer, a Democrat, are seeking nominations for auditor.

Marian Frances Sparinga, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for Inspector of Elections for District 1, and Judith Salesi, a Republican, has filed for Inspector of Elections for District 3.

Saltlick

Three candidates have filed petitions seeking nominations for supervisors. Republicans Steve Nietfeld and Gary Wilker and Democrat Greg Grimm are on the ballot list.

Springfield

Ross Miner, a Republican, is seeking the nomination for supervisor.

Virginia Bowser, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for tax collector, and Marlene Kern, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for township auditor.

Carol Burkholder, a Republican, is seeking the nomination for Judge of Elections for District 2, and Nancy Arsenberger and Robin Burkholder, both Democrats, are seeking nominations for Inspector of Elections for District 2.

Upper Tyrone

Democrats Richard Beranek and Dewey Eutsey are seeking the nomination for the six-year term of township supervisor.

Laurie Hanchar, a Republican, is seeking the nomination of tax collector, and Jackie Beranek, a Democrat, is seeking the nomination for Judge of Elections.
