A neighbor found the body of an elderly Avella man after an apparent tractor accident.

Louis Kaposy, 95, was last seen mowing his lawn at 3 p.m. Sunday, said Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco.

Kaposy's body was found at 7 p.m. over a hillside off Meadowcroft Road by the neighbor, Warco said. Kaposy had been traveling west on the tractor on Meadowcroft and went off the hillside on the eastbound side.

The manner and cause of death are pending an autopsy and investigation, Warco said.
