Police are investigating a robbery reported Saturday morning at Sunoco along North Center Avenue in New Stanton.

Around 4:25 a.m., the suspect placed a written note on the counter demanding money, then fled on foot, according to a news release from state police. The total amount of money stolen is undetermined, police said.

Police describe the suspect as a white man between 20 and 30 years old with a black knit hat, a black hooded sweatshirt, glasses and black-and-red gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-832-3288.
