George P. Boyle

Irwin

George P. Boyle, 83, of Irwin, died Saturday, July 14, 2012, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Dec. 26, 1928, in East Pittsburgh, a son of the late William and Ella Vey Boyle. Mr. Boyle was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an insurance agent by Educators Mutual Insurance Co. He was also employed as a driver for Allegheny Limousine Co. George was a veteran who served our country in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and William Boyle. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Martha Kuzma Boyle. He was a devoted father to five daughters, Denise Wesolowski and her husband, Christopher, and Francene Melocchi and her husband, Ralph, all of North Huntingdon, Jeannine Boyle, of Irwin, Michelle Stuebgen and her husband, Michael, of Bethel Park, and Christy Fenstermacher and her husband, Scott, of Mt. Airy, Md.; two sisters, Ann Jacobina, of Latrobe, and Victorine Jacobina, of Greensburg; and eight grandchildren, Anna Wesolowski, Carmen and Sophia Melocchi, Angela Boyle, Emma Stuebgen, Alec, Joel and Aiden Fenstermacher. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME INC., 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Agnes Church, followed by interment in New St. Joseph Cemetery.
