Elvin Breniser


Elvin M. Breniser Ligonier Elvin McGraw "Pee Wee" Breniser, 83, of Ligonier, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, in the Bethlen Home. He was born April 13, 1929, in Ligonier, a son of the late John Withrow Breniser and Ellen McGraw Breniser. He enlisted in the National Guard and the Navy at the age of 18 and served in Korea. Pee Wee was the previous owner of Pee Wee's Dairy Mart in Ligonier. Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union No. 354. He was a member of the National Skeet Shooting Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Byers Tosh American Legion Post No. 267. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In adition to his parents he was preceeded in death by two sons, Gregory and Scott Breniser; his sister, Barbara Mastrorocco; and two brothers, John and Larry Breniser. He is survived by his three children, Daniel Breniser, Theresa and her husband, Wayne H. Kappel, all of Ligonier, and Jennie Recalde, of Cincinnati, Ohio; his former wife, Romayne "Dottsie" Breniser, of Ligonier; seven grandchildren; two great-grandaughters; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. Private services and interment will be made in the Ligonier Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ligonier Valley Fire Companies. Online condolences may be made to
