Chayson Lynn Heilman, 30, of Leechburg, died Monday evening, Oct. 29, 2012, at the UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh. Born March 25, 1982, in Franklin, he was the son of Ellis L. and Christine A. Bell Heilman of Leechburg. Chase graduated from Kiski Area High School in 2000, and he was a member of the North Apollo Church of God. He was a gifted pianist who had a love for music. He enjoyed golfing and helping others. In addition to his parents, Chase is survived by his daughter, Cailyn Elise Heilman, who resides with her grandparents in Leechburg; two sisters and their families, Chandra Scheftic, her husband, David, of Apollo, and children, Jadyn, Morgan, Elena and Eric, and Sheena Allenburg, her husband, Jeffrey, of Natrona Heights, and children, Shaylee and Landon. Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, William E. and Joanne C. Bell, of Shippenville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be no public calling hours. A private family funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at the Grace EC Church, 2561 Grace Church Road, Knox. The Rev. Rick Osberg, pastor of Grace ECC, will officiate. Interment will follow at the Starr Cemetery in Ninevah. Arrangements are under the direction of the WILLIAM N.
