Stanley Thomas Frederick

East McKeesport and Largo, Fla

Stanley Thomas Frederick, age 81, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, in his home. He was born Nov. 11, 1920, in Turtle Creek, a son of the late Frank and Katherine Maleski Frederick. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Frederick was the owner of Frederick Funeral Home from 1946-1987. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, an associate member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Largo, Fla., a past commander of American Legion Post 947, East McKeesport Lodge No. 765 F&AM, life member of Syria Temple of Pittsburgh and a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army as a medic. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Kmetz Frederick; a son, Mark, his wife Allison of North Versailles and a daughter Lisa Frederick of White Oak, and a grandchild Amy. Friends received in the SHIRLEY-KUKICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church, North Versailles, with the Rev. Richard Bonds-Krug officiating. Burial will take place in Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
