Barack Obama's 2012 re-election slogan -- "Forward!" -- has long ties to Marxism and socialism, as in "moving forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism," reminds The Washington Times. As disgusting as that is, use of the slogan likely represents the first time the Obama administration has told the truth. ... A new book by Time magazine's Nancy Gibbs says former Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton share something other than raising money for good causes. She says they share a disdain for Jimmy Carter conducting foreign policy after he left office and without any authority from the White House. Former staffers even use the word "treason," notes the New York Post. We're glad to see everybody's finally getting up to speed on Mr. Carter. ... There's a glut of pork again in the United States. Pig populations are at record highs. Demand is down. Prices are falling. No doubt, your federal government will figure out a way to once again "help" the pork industry and perpetuate this insane cycle by throwing further subsidies at the pork industry. ... Still looking for relevance , vanquished GOP presidential wannabe Rick Santorum is scheduled to be on Jay Leno next Tuesday night. Some advice for Mr. Santorum: Avoid the phrase "Man on dog."
