It sounds cliched, but it is a truism: America is at a crossroads. It can continue down the path of Leviathan government and an increasing dependence on it, or America can return to the path of limited government and the kind of prosperity-producing independence on which the Founders based this great republic.
The choice is yours. Our choice is the latter. And that's why we enthusiastically endorse Republican Mitt Romney for president of the United States.
He's an exceptionally good and decent man who is a proven leader, administrator and deft politician.
Four years ago, we warned of the dangers of a Barack Obama presidency. We predicted everything from his economic policy of unprecedented and recovery-retarding taxing and spending to a weak foreign policy of deferentialism that has endangered America and invited aggression.
What we could not have predicted, however, was how scandal-ridden Mr. Obama's administration would be.
There's the prevaricating attorney general who, promoting the rule of lawlessness, was found in contempt of Congress (think of the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal). There are the executive orders that exceeded presidential authority (think of the broad amnesty for illegal aliens). And then there's the rank abuse of the government pulpit for political ends (think of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius' unpunished violations of the Hatch Act), among other unsavory behavior.
And while President Obama argues that it is imprudent to change horses in midstream, that he is deserving of four more years to complete his agenda, the American people know you can't reach the opposite bank on a drowning horse.
Mitt Romney, on the other hand, has excelled in service private and public, showing great mastery in keeping the steed steady and in some quite unfriendly and even treacherous waters.
He helped restructure numerous companies and saved many jobs as the head of Bain Capital.
Using his considerable financial acumen, organizational skills and persuasive verve, he rescued the scandal-plagued 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
And he showed great political adroitness in working with a Democrat legislature as governor of Massachusetts for the betterment of all Bay State residents.
Mitt Romney offers a seasoned, strategic and mature public policy mind so sorely needed in the White House and so necessary to enable our great nation and its people to excel.
It's time to begin restoring America. It's time to elect Mitt Romney as president of the United States.

So a person that forces millions of dollars of debt onto a company but takes a bonus from the company, declares bankruptcy placing the pension debt onto the Federal Tax Payer is a good fiscal candidate? Yes, all real Americans shelter their money in foreign banks. Won't pay women the same wage as males "IF" women are in the workforce. It only gets worse. So you of the rust belt that Mr. Romney wants to go bankrupt, heres hoping you have your golden parachute.

WHYCWOULD THIS PAPER ENDORSE MITT ROMNEY????--That has to be the dumbest thing around after eeing this man: 1) Change his position countless times depending on the audience he is speaking to. 2) Use the attack on an embassy to politicize it for vote gain. 3) Call 47 per cent of Americans victims and not caring about them. 4) Hide his money off shore to keep them from taxes. 5) NOT ONE OF HIS SONS, NOR HIM ever served this country. Romney ran off to France at the height of the Viet Nam War. 5) Right now he and Bain has closed a plant and sent jobs to China. 6) The Largest newspaper in Utah endorses President Obama (Romney is from Utah and a Mormon) 7) Massachusetts where his was governor is going for President Obama by a double digit difference in numbers. Mitt Romney cares NOTHING for the average American and I find myself at a lost on HOW Billionaires and Millionaires have gotten the broke, the poor and many middle class people to vote for them. Shows me people will cut off the nose to spite their face. Or does this have to do will race, a lack man in the White House?.

WE remember shortly after President Obama was elected and the House Minority Leader (R) Eric Cantor of VA which stated: "we must do whatever it takes to make sure this president fails". That is a straight FACT, not a spun one and the man said it himself in ront of the camera. Thank you for your endorsement of the proven lie to your face depending on what I think you want to hear candidate of Mitt Romney. Good to know that of the Tribune Review. A Harvard graduate, that has zero to no table manners when presented with a plate of cookies did he say "Hey, did you make these yourself" or "Thank you, they look good" nah of course Mitt didn't. He is so much better educated and is so much smarter he said "What, did you get these from some kind of 7-11 bakery?" Such a nice condescending and mocking way to treat a host that puts down food for you. Guess you won't want to cover the fact that the President went and got Romneys' guy to write the National Medical Policy which is as we all know based off the Mass. Policy that Romney says is good enough for "his state" but not for the rest of the country....And there you basically have the underlining theme of Romney....good for me but not for you. It would just bee too easy to prove all the things, but alas, a biased partisan ear will hear but they will not listen so instead I'll just stop buying your newspapers. Anytime though, you would like to publicly debate your view, please give me a call. You shouldn't have a problem, I'm only a high school graduate and my transcript is basically a "barely made it" so again it should be easy for you. I am so serious. I know you won't even come close to entertaining the thought of accepting the challenge, the fear of loosing to a high school graduate will be too great. email me, Zaxynn
