If Mitt Romney wants to pick up votes, he should commit to getting our troops out of Afghanistan and moving them to the U.S.-Mexico border (“U.S. troop deaths hit 2K in Afghanistan,” “Border Patrol agent shot to death,” Oct. 1, Oct. 3 and TribLIVE.com).

How long must we tolerate these obscenities? The drug traffic from Mexico is a much larger danger to this country than Afghanistan will ever be.
