Media not doing job

Isn't it amazing how, just days after Gen. Petraeus resigned after being outed as having an affair, the media found out who his mistress was (Paula Broadwell) and who the whistle-blower was (Jill Kelley). Then thousands of emails between Kelley and Gen. Allen are found. We now know how Petraeus and Broadwell jogged and did pushups together. All this is uncovered faster than you can absorb news from the previous day.

Why, then, couldn't the same press find who was responsible for the death of a Border Patrol agent? Congress couldn't get straight answers from the attorney general, and when he was subpoenaed, the president invoked executive privilege.

Then four Americans were murdered in Benghazi on Sept. 11. Pleas for help were ignored. More than two months have passed and the media have no clue.

And when Congress was to hold hearings, Petraeus would not be available to testify and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was away on a junket, so she also would not testify. What a shame we don't have a press that will do its job.
