Regarding The Associated Press news story “1st same-sex wedding held at West Point chapel” (Dec. 2 and TribLIVE.com) about a ceremony at the Cadet Chapel: I was surprised to read in the very last paragraph that a same-sex wedding was held the previous weekend at another landmark on West Point's campus, the Old Cadet Chapel.

Was it newsworthy that yet another gay wedding was held at West Point? Or was it that the AP, the Trib and other media outlets — under the pretext of the Cadet Chapel wedding — once again cozied up to the gay lobby in its relentless efforts to establish gay marriage as a new norm?
