Leave us alone

Regarding the letter “The Ten Commandments are historical” (Dec. 27): This by far presented our “Leave us alone!” viewpoint. The letter “Butt out, atheists” (Sept. 28) is a close second. I will be counted, by name, in the fight to allow the Ten Commandments monument to stand outside of Valley High School.

The devil and his atheists need to butt out of New Kensington and attempt to cause trouble elsewhere.

My 110-pound Doberman will stand with me!

Atheists are Americans too. If you want a theocratic government, consider moving to another country and take your dog with you.

It is totally irresponsible for the Trib to print this letter. The judge in this case has agreed that complainants can remain anonymous due to personal threats. The idea that someone would use their Doberman to circumvent the law, the Constitution, and basic human civility is disturbing to say the least. Let the courts decide this issue and stop printing personal attacks in your paper.
