In response to The Associated Press news story “Electric vehicles scolded for being too quiet” (Jan. 8 and TribLIVE.com): Let's install warning devices on all slow-moving items that use our streets and highways — electric cars, bicycles, skateboards, runners, skates, toboggans and “Hoveround”-type scooters. Let's put this on the list with the fiscal cliff, world hunger and global warming!
