'American Coyotes' Series

Traveling by Jeep, boat and foot, Tribune-Review investigative reporter Carl Prine and photojournalist Justin Merriman covered nearly 2,000 miles over two months along the border with Mexico to report on coyotes — the human traffickers who bring illegal immigrants into the United States. Most are Americans working for money and/or drugs. This series reports how their operations have a major impact on life for residents and the environment along the border — and beyond.

It's amazing that with a Republican governor, state Rep. Tim Krieger, R-Delmont, and state Sen. Kim Ward, R-Hempfield, were “blindsided” and had no clue that SCI-Greensburg was going to be shut down. Am I supposed to believe that malarkey?

Why are we electing them if they are so misinformed and not up to date on something so important happening that will be a large job loss in our area? They sure got together quickly on what to tell the media — “We had no idea.”

Maybe all that horse dung at the farm show in Harrisburg kept them from doing their jobs in their offices. Thanks to both for people losing their jobs and then pretending they had no clue.
