Sheldon Park bust
We got the new year off right — another drug bust in Sheldon Park (“2 nabbed in Harrison drug raid,” Jan. 19). Some things never change, but I wish they would.
Unfortunately, we see this all too often in Sheldon Park and sometimes in Village Green. People wonder where the criminals who have broken into so many area homes come from, and the answer is from here, from Pittsburgh and from other states. The problem is not unique to Harrison; this goes on all over the valley and the country.
I do wonder why our local elected officials and/or law enforcement can't classify certain types of residences as a “nuisance” and shut them down?
