The editorial “Crash of the dodo birds” (March 10 and TribLIVE.com) describing U.S. Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham hit the nail on the head!

I can't think of another senator who has done more damage to the GOP in recent memory than McCain.

I have a new term for McCain and his ilk, playing off the acronym for “Republicans in name only”: “RINOsaurs.”

Some things deserve to be extinct.
