I'm sure Pittsburgh Catholics are “grateful” to the Opinion staff of the Trib for the editorial “The new pontiff: Pope Francis” (March 14 and TribLIVE.com). Here we were, thinking that the challenge of the faith was to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to a world that has embraced sin. We never considered relevancy before! Thanks for explaining that to us.

I can't help but wonder, though: How “relevant” will our current arrogant society be at the end of time? Not very.
