Spill the drink tax

The Creighton Hotel along Freeport Road has been a landmark establishment for more than 100 years. Now it is closed because of Allegheny County's alcoholic drink tax.

Other small taverns and restaurants are also suffering because of the drink tax. People are losing their jobs.

It is time to abolish the drink tax before more people lose their jobs. Whoever came up with this tax should be banished to Siberia to work in the salt mines for the rest of their living days.
