Letter to the Editor
Saturday, May 25, 2013, 9:00 p.m.

During the Bush administration, there were those who complained about “enhanced interrogation,” aka torture of prisoners of the Iraq and Afghan wars.

Now we learn that the current administration has used the IRS to intimidate conservative groups that have voiced their concerns regarding the growth of government and the direction our country is going and wanted to campaign for or donate to a candidate with a different vision in the 2012 election.

So, consider the two above scandals and ask yourself the question: Which of the two goes against the values and freedoms that our country espouses?
