There is no place in a free democracy for such an intrusive, dictatorial and powerful sub-governmental agency as the IRS. The IRS is not an element of a government of the people, for the people and by the people.

Why is there not a huge public outcry demanding the end of this onerous arm of government? Hopefully, the reason for apathy is not fear.

This certainly is the time to ask that a more fair and simplified flat tax be initiated as the American tax system. One should make this the criterion for deciding which candidates to vote for in future elections. Meanwhile, one should consider making a call to one's government representatives.
