Re. the story “Battle over tire shop continues” (May 22), about Jamie Morabito trying to stop Sam Jenniches Jr. from opening a tire shop on Leechburg Road in Lower Burrell: Why does Morabito think he and his used car lot are better than anyone else?

With so many empty business sites, I'd think the city would be thankful a legitimate business wants to open.

Competition is best for the consumer.
