Michael LaRussa (“Positive privatization,” May 31) is right that the dismantling of the state's socialist liquor monopoly is a “win-win.”

However, the end of this Soviet-style system is a resounding loss for those who oppose capitalism, flourish in a Harrisburg pull-peddling cesspool and do not believe in individual rights.
