Letter to the Editor
Thursday, June 27, 2013, 8:55 p.m.

Our government has now determined that being fat is a disease. This will “allow” our health-insurance companies to pay for medical procedures and prescriptions for obesity. It will also “allow” the rest of us to pay for any resultant increase in our private health-insurance rates.

But ObamaCare's coming! We're all going to pay for it — and a lot more — anyhow. Besides, why deny a little financial relief to folks just because they're bariatrically challenged?
