Regarding Pat Buchanan's column “Whose side are you on?” (Aug. 14 and TribLIVE.com): As I'm sure Mr. Buchanan well remembers, we used to say a prayer at the end of every Mass for the conversion of Russia.

Perhaps we should start saying one for the conversion of America.
