Letter to the Editor
Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, 9:00 p.m.

In his letter “Parents best hope” (Aug. 18 and TribLIVE.com), Oren M. Spiegler is absolutely right concerning teachers, parents and their respective responsibilities regarding education.

I have many teachers in my family and they can always tell which students come from families where parents (adults) work with them at home.
