“Amen” to Colin McNickle's “Saturday essay: Cyclists want respect?” (Oct. 12 and TribLIVE.com). As “vehicles” using the roadways, why not require that bicyclists go through the same state procedures as any other vehicle — annual registration, tags, insurance and safety inspections?
