Letter to the Editor
Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, 9:00 p.m.

Last year's election was very important in how our national and state governments are managed. This year's general election is very important for a similar reason — we're electing representatives to manage our local governments and school districts.

Go to the polls on Nov. 5. Don't say “I don't care” or “Let someone else worry about that.” Vote and make your voice count. And after your representatives are elected, remember to respectfully use your voice again and let them know how they are doing.

If you do not speak, they will not hear you.
