Letter to the Editor
Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, 9:00 p.m.

Note to Dan Rooney: You made an egregious mistake. Just as your Steelers continue to indulge their many mistakes, you made a mistake in foisting your ObamaCare cuddle-up on the public, using your publicly underwritten stadium as the vehicle.

You used to be a sports icon in this town. Now, at least for a significant number of your former supporters and fans, you're using a semi-public venue to further your own agenda (ObamaCare), which has caused many, many people to abandon the Rooney schtick.

It's a shame your legacy, carefully crafted over decades, has now come a cropper.

I think that's half the distance to the goal. And loss of down.
