Praise undeserved

Regarding Oren M. Spiegler's letter “Fair-minded & decent” (Nov. 12 and TribLIVE.com) about U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., voting for legislation that would ban workplace discrimination against gays: Praise for more laws and regulations?

Praise for allowing a transgender/homosexual male to use the women's room with your 8-year-old daughter?

We do not need more rules and regulations imposing restrictions or regulating our thoughts.

With all the problems facing this country, this is what the senator from Pennsylvania focuses on?

Not worthy of praise, nor re-election, in my opinion.
