It was a sunny but cold Wednesday morning crossing the Kittanning Citizens Bridge. The temperature was something below zero, but beauty was something soaring high. The limbs of trees in Riverfront Park were covered in white, and sun-lighted glory and brilliant white fog hung over the Allegheny River. Other drivers were noticing it too.

It's enough to make one forget petty politics in the news or what's on social media.

Just think: This is where we live! What a wake-up call.
