Letter to the Editor
Saturday, May 3, 2014, 9:00 p.m.

Here's a six-gun salute to John Bury for his letter “Help our veterans” (April 15). His patriotism and love of veterans underscore his concern for our well-being.

I'm a Vietnam veteran, and Congress needs to provide more help. I think denying a veteran his claim is like denying a Viking entrance to Valhalla. All that veterans want is for our country to love us as much as we love it.
