Letter to the Editor

Regarding the letter “Appeals & Allegheny County” : Its writer, Oren M. Spiegler, is right again. I live a mile into Allegheny County and my friend lives in Butler County — same ZIP code, his house is worth twice mine and he pays the same tax as I do!

Lucky me: Two stickers on my windshield, 7 percent sales tax instead of 6 percent — buy a car, see what that means! The place is a pure political dump and I can say or see nothing good about having a house in Allegheny County.
