I am appalled and saddened by the decision of the Presbyterian Church (USA) General Assembly to disinvest in companies that sell to Israel.

I believe that the vote is a step backward in the ongoing peace process and takes sides in a very complex conflict. Additionally, it gives aid and comfort to the terroristic Palestinian organization Hamas and the anti-Israel groups that support the “Jew-free Middle East” movement.

As one individual, I realize that I can do little to change this. But I can do something to show my discontent.

Therefore, I will no longer support any Presbyterian cause outside my local church, Bellevue United Presbyterian Church, until this decision is reversed.
