Letter to the Editor
Saturday, July 12, 2014, 9:00 p.m.

Regarding your article “Wait likely to continue for LCB privatization” : Those of us who seek privatization may be missing the real reason for our frustration. God loves the Liquor Control Board.

Bible thumpers believe that God speaks directly to state store employees, making them uniquely qualified to protect weak-willed citizens from devil booze. Union supporters insist that a state store job is a God-given right.

No wonder we can't privatize the sale of alcohol. Reason and logic never trump faith and God's not on our side.
