'American Coyotes' Series

Traveling by Jeep, boat and foot, Tribune-Review investigative reporter Carl Prine and photojournalist Justin Merriman covered nearly 2,000 miles over two months along the border with Mexico to report on coyotes — the human traffickers who bring illegal immigrants into the United States. President Obama has certainly pulled out all the stops in getting to the bottom of the Ferguson, Mo., incident in which a police officer used deadly force on a black 18-year-old named Michael Brown.

By sending his famed Attorney General “Fast and Furious” Eric Holder to Ferguson, Obama can be sure that Holder's investigation into the matter will be “just” and “unbiased.” Yes indeed, like everything else in the Obama administration — “open” and “transparent.”

Since a multitude of FBI agents, special investigators and Holder have been there on the scene, justice can certainly be served. It's just a matter of which one actually is selected to put the target on Officer Darren Wilson's back.
