Former Beaver Falls basketball star Sheldon Jeter signed a letter of intent Wednesday to play for Pitt next season.

A 6-foot-8 forward, Jeter is attending Polk State College in Winter Haven, Fla., after averaging 5.5 points in 18 minutes per game as a freshman at Vanderbilt.
