Ron Crook became the fourth new assistant to join the West Virginia football staff this offseason.

He will be in charge of the offensive line, replacing Bill Bedenbaugh, who recently left for Oklahoma.

Crook, a Parkersburg, W.Va., native who spent the past two seasons at Stanford, joins new assistants Tony Gibson (safeties), Brian Mitchell (cornerbacks) and Lonnie Galloway (receivers).

“Ron has a proven track record as a teacher, coach and recruiter,” WVU coach Dana Holgorsen said in a statement.
