West Mifflin senior A.J. Olasz pitched a shutout for the Titans (2-0), as they earned a nonsection win over Bloomington Central Catholic, Ill., in the Vero Beach tournament in Florida.

Olasz struck out 10 and allowed two hits.

Bethel Park 4, Thomas Jefferson 1 — Joe Zufall pitched 6 23 innings and struck out nine for the Black Hawks (1-1) in a nonsection victory over Thomas Jefferson (3-2). Corey Augenstein and Carmen Jansante each drove in a run for Bethel Park.

David Stoner took the loss, and Joe McHugh and Jeremy Wasik each doubled for TJ.
