Ciara Gregory registered game highs with 31 points and 16 rebounds to lead Jeannette (4-1) to a 70-43 win over Monessen (0-4) in nonsection play on Wednesday night.

Sydney Pecoraro also recorded a double-double for Jeannette with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Mariah Ward led Monessen with 15 points.

Brentwood 53, Burgettstown 30 — Laura McGowan scored 25 points to lead Brentwood to a nonsection win. Alecia Folino chipped in with 10 points for Brentwood (2-5).

South Allegheny 51, Bentworth 42 — Jaylee Patterson tallied a game-high 24 points, and Abby Dranko added 12 as South Allegheny (3-3) won in nonsection play. Taylor Pompei added 19 for Bentworth (2-4).

Boys basketball

Pine-Richland 57, Lincoln Park 53 — Pat Sullivan had 17 points, and Dean Steliotes had 15 to lead Pine-Richland (5-2) to a nonsection win over Class A No. 1 Lincoln Park. Maverick Rowan scored 22 points for Lincoln Park (3-2).

South Allegheny 55, Frazier 53 — Kordell Thompson scored 17 points to lead South Allegheny (2-4) to a nonsection win. Frazier had the final scoring opportunity of the contest, but misfired.

South Fayette 67, North County, Md. 50 — Evan Bonnaure scored 22 points to lead South Fayette (4-1) to a nonsection win. C.J. Rudisill added 20 points for South Fayette, while North County's Corey Martin scored a game-high 24 points.

Neshannock 79, Western Beaver 50 — Ernie Burkes had a team high 22 points as Neshannock (5-0) remained undefeated with a nonsection win. Nick Miller led Western Beaver (1-5) with 22 points.

Seton-La Salle 65, South Park 52 — Four players reached double digits for Seton-La Salle (4-1) as it won a nonsection matchup. Dale Clancy led the scoring with 14 points.

Wrestling

Yough 40, Mt. Pleasant 28 — Cody Charles (113 pounds), Teddy Charletta (132), Mike Anderson (170), Tom Sever (220) and Chris Williams (285) each had pins to lead Yough (9-0, 2-0) to a Class AA, Section 2-B victory. Austin Mears (145) had a pin for Mt. Pleasant (5-2, 1-1).

Kittanning 39, Valley 31 — With a 24-point run to cap the match, Kittanning completed a comeback win Class AA, Section 3-B action. Junior 132-pounder Jason Nolf started the rally with a second-period pin, one of Kittanning's four victories by pin.

Senior 152-pounder Taylor Jack put the Wildcats (1-1, 1-1) ahead with a second-period pin in the second-to-last bout. Pins by freshman Jihad Ratliff (106 pounds) and Jake Musco (113) opened a 21-point run for Valley (1-1, 1-1), which had trailed, 15-10, before Ratliff's victory. The Vikings won three bouts by pin.

Latrobe 46, Penn-Trafford 25 — Eric Mills (120 pounds), Jake Shaffer (128), Luke Shaffer (145), Chris Frowen (160) and Logan Cairns (182) all earned pins to lead Latrobe (2-1) to a Class AAA, Section 1B victory. Mike Risnear (132) had a pin for Penn-Trafford (1-1).
