Shelby Lindsay's triple-double of 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists helped Class AAA No. 3 South Park (13-1, 7-0) to a 56-43 victory over South Fayette in Section 5 Thursday night.

Halie Torris finished with 22 points for South Park, while South Fayette (7-5, 4-3) was led by Lauren Crites' 15 points.

Quaker Valley 50, Montour 33 — Sierra Perlik scored 27 points for Quaker Valley (8-5, 5-2) in a Section 5-AAA win over Montour (2-12, 0-7). Rachel Smith added 11 points.

Hopewell 61, New Castle 34 — Shatori Walker-Kimbrough scored 20 points as No. 2 Hopewell (13-2, 5-2) picked up a Section 2-AAA win.

Blackhawk 63, Ellwood City 21 — Chassidy Omogrosso, who finished with 21 points, led four players in double figures for Class AAA No. 1 Blackhawk in a Section 2-AAA win. Halle Denman scored 10 points and recorded nine steals and seven assists for Blackhawk (15-0, 7-0).

Greensburg Salem 56, Yough 27 — Karly Mellinger scored 19 points to lead Greensburg Salem (11-3, 7-0) to a Section 3-AAA victory over Yough (6-10, 1-6). Claire Oberdorf added 14 points.

Mt. Lebanon 57, Canon-McMillan 23 — Alex Ventrone, who made four three-pointers, finished with 22 points to lead Class AAAA No. 2 Mt. Lebanon (13-2, 6-1) to a Section 4-AAAA win over Canon-McMillan (6-7, 1-6).

Norwin 65, Latrobe 33 — Alayna Gribble scored 21 points in a Section 1-AAAA win for Norwin (8-7, 6-2). Rachel Keto added 10 points in the win, while Latrobe (6-7, 4-4) was led by Anna Ayers' 11 points.

Belle Vernon 48, Ringgold 29 — Kaitlyn Slagus scored 15 points to lead Belle Vernon (9-4, 5-2) to a Section 4-AAA win. Phaedra DeWitt (12) and Jessica Slagus (10) also paced Belle Vernon. Ringgold (6-8, 3-4) was led by Bailey Copper and Josie Schmidt, who both scored 10 points.

Hempfield 58, Connellsville 29 — Mary Burns scored 21 points, including three 3-pointers, to pace No. 5 Hempfield (13-2, 8-0) in a Section 1 win. Maria Merendino led Connellsville (6-10, 1-7) with 14 points.

Seton-La Salle 82, Chartiers-Houston 40 — In Section 4-AA, No. 1 Seton-La Salle (13-1, 7-0) got 18 points from Cassidy Walsh and 16 from Naje Gibson en route to victory.

Bishop Canevin 62, Wilkinsburg 18 — Erin Waskowiak scored 12 points to lead Class AA No. 2 Bishop Canevin (12-2, 6-1) to a Section 4 win. Carly Forse and Johnie Olkodky scored 10 points each for Bishop Canevin. Wilkinsburg (0-7, 0-11) was led by Moriah Smith's 10 points.

Greensburg C.C. 74, Shady Side Academy 39 — Carolyn Appleby led all scorers with 24 points to pace Class AA No. 5 Greensburg Central Catholic (11-4, 6-1) in a Section 3 win. Rachel Deglau added 17 points, while Shady Side Academy (5-9, 3-4) was led by Audrey Koi's 12 points.

Jeannette 70, South Allegheny 47 — Ciara Gregory scored a game-high 31 points to lead Jeannette (10-4, 7-0) to a win in Section 3-AA. Monique Redman added 12 points, while Jaylee Patterson scored 16 for SA (6-8, 2-5).

Beaver 46, Northgate 16 — Lexi Posset and Eleanor Neeley scored 19 and 10 points, respectively, as Beaver (11-1, 7-0) cruised in Section 6-AA.

North Catholic 61, Ellis School 15 — Lauren Wolosik finished with 30 points to lead Class A No. 3 North Catholic (9-6, 6-1) to a Section 2 win over Ellis School (4-8, 2-5). Brooke Zangaro (11) and Paige Kizior (10) also reached double-digits for North Catholic.

Eden Christian 41, Trinity 31 — Alia Bradford set a school record with 29 points to lead Eden Christian (10-4, 5-2) to a Section 2-A win.

Carmichaels 54, Mapletown 11 — Morgan Berardi scored 16 points and added 13 steals and 10 assists to lead Class A No. 4 Carmichaels (13-2, 4-1) to a Section 3 win. Amanda Brown added 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Cornell 61, Western Beaver 8 — Mason DePetro scored 19 points and eclipsed 1,000 career points to lead Cornell (7-6, 5-2) to a Section 1-A win.

Moon 59, Ambridge 48 — Amirah Moore and Abby Unis scored 26 and 17 points, respectively, to lead Moon (8-8) to a nonsection victory. Katie Fischer had 17 points to lead Ambridge (6-5).

Boys basketball

South Side Beaver 40, Northgate 39 — Jon Magusiak, who finished with 14 points, banked in the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to lead South Side Beaver (5-11, 3-4) to a Section 6-AA win.
