Trib HS Insider Q&A: Frazier’s Chaise Bertocci

Junior running back Chaise Bertocci is one of 16 members of the Frazier football team who experienced the team's long-awaited return to the playoffs last season. This year, Bertocci is focused on helping the Commodores make a return trip to the postseason.
Bertocci has been a consistent producer this season. He has rushed for a touchdown in each of Frazier's last three games, including a 5-yard scoring run in last week's loss to Jefferson-Morgan. Bertocci has 248 rushing yards on 35 carries.
Q: What are some of the best moments you have experienced on the football field?
A: Making it to the playoffs last year was one and beating Monessen for the first time in a long time. Scoring a couple touchdowns in a playoff game as a sophomore was another one.
Q: Aside from football, what is your favorite sport?
A: Baseball.
Q: If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A: I would go to Alaska to go hunting and see the sights.
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Math.
Q: What are your plans after high school?
A: I want to go to college and become a contractor. I'd like to play baseball or football or both.
Q: What are some hobbies you enjoy?
A: Hunting, fishing, working on cars and playing sports.
Q: What are your personal goals for the rest of the season?
A: I just want to do my best and help the team as much as I can.
Q: Do you have a favorite television show?
A: “American Pickers.”
Q: If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?
A: RG3 (Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III). I would ask him how much dedication you need to make it through the different levels.
