Winter leads Shady Side Academy soccer to victories

Lia Winter has been playing soccer since she was 5.
She also plays hockey and lacrosse at Shady Side Academy
Last week, she made her presence felt on the soccer field as she scored five goals and had three assists to help lead the Indians to two victories.
Winter said she is undecided about where she will attend college next year but plans on majoring in biomedical engineering.
She hopes to play soccer and/or lacrosse when she attends college.

Q: Who are your role models?
A: My mom, my grandpa and Dr. Bradley.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Hanging out with my friends, especially Aya Agha. I also like watching sporting events and playing sports.
Q: What's your favorite things about Pittsburgh?
A: The sports teams, especially the Steelers and Penguins.
Q: Is there a food you refuse to eat?
A: Fish.
Q: Who's the most annoying celebrity or athlete around?
A: The Greensburg Central Catholic teams.
Q: What movie could you watch over and over?
A: “She's the Man.”
Q: What's your favorite TV show?
A: “NCIS.”
Q: Name two people you'd love to have dinner with.
A: Troy Polamalu and Callee Bradley.
Q: Who's your favorite athlete?
A: David Beckham.
Q: What was the first concert you ever went to?
A: Kanye West and Jay Z.
Q: Who would be your dream date?
A: Sidney Crosby.
Q: What's your favorite animal at the zoo?
A: The tiger.
Q: What would make up your all-time favorite meal?
A: Steak and creme brulee for dessert.
