Frazier junior Michael Luce has developed into one of the top pass-catching threats in the Commodores' offense. He's also played a key role in helping the Commodores get in position to qualify for the WPIAL Class A playoffs for the second straight season. He enter's the final week of the regular season with 28 catches for 374 yards and three scores.

Q: What has been the best part of playing on the Frazier football team this season?

A: I'm playing football with some of my best friends, and it's a really good time.

Q: What has been the reason for your emergence as a top receiver in the passing game?

A: I'm kind of used as a decoy behind Jaime (Fell), and that helps me a lot in the second half. Charlie (Manack) usually finds me a lot on first down.

Q: Your team beat previously-undefeated Beth-Center just two weeks ago. What was the key to winning that game?

A: We've been wanting to beat Beth-Center for three years, and we just came to play.

Q: If you beat Mapletown on Friday, you're in the playoffs. What goals remain after that?

A: Obviously, we want to win. We haven't won a playoff game in I don't know how long, so that would be huge for our school.

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: “The Longest Yard.”

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Steak.

Q: What's the best advice given to you?

A: My coach, Tony Battaglini, always tells us to go our hardest and play every play like it is our last.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: I like hanging out with my friends. I like to fish.

Q: What's your favorite subject in school?

A: Math

Q: If you could have dinner with anybody, who would it be?

A: Hines Ward. I think of myself as being a possession receiver.

Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: I plan on going to college, probably to be a gym teacher.
