Q: Does Chicago's regular-season success remind you of the '93 Penguins that won 17 in a row but lost in the playoffs?

A: Yes, and it is something that I think about. This is great for the Hawks and the league right now. But it doesn't really matter what kind of a streak you can put up. They will be judged by how they play in the postseason. The Stanley Cup is the paramount thing.

Q: Scotty Bowman played his stars a ton during the streak in '93. Is Chicago wise to roll four lines and stay fresh?

A: They are, but different situations. We won the Cup the year before. Chicago didn't. Big difference. They shouldn't be tired.

Q: Would you have enjoyed playing on a line with Sidney Crosby?

A: Oh, wow. Yeah. Obviously. I thought Thursday's game in Philly was so impressive. I don't think people are talking enough about what Sid is doing right now. That Philly game told me that Crosby has the crown back as the best player in the game. He willed them to win that game. He was setting people up for empty nets. I don't know how he made some of the plays that I saw. What leadership. I love Steven Stamkos, but Sid is the best right now. Pascal Dupuis is a good player, but he must wake up every day and say, "Oh, Lord, I get to play with this guy."
