Rifle/trap leagues

• The race for first place in the Twi-Night Trap League may be over, but what remains to be decided is who finishes fourth instead of fifth. This past week at Connellsville Sportsmen's Club, when 12 of 143 shooters managed perfect scores of 25, the home club won with a 196. East Huntingdon finished second with 195, followed by Youngwood with 193, Hecla with 189 and Ruffsdale with 188. That tightened things up on the year. Youngwood remains comfortably in first with 72 points, Connellsville is entrenched in second with 61 and Hecla is third with 46.5. Ruffsdale remains in fourth, with 38, but East Huntingdon has crept up, with 37.5 points. This week's shoot is at Ruffsdale Gun Club.
