Richard Park's second stint with the Penguins officially ended.

The Penguins showed little interest in bringing the veteran center back for another season, and on Tuesday, he inked a two-year deal with HC Ambri Piotta in Switzerland.

Park enjoyed two previous stints in the Swiss Elite League. He scored seven goals and added seven assists last season in 54 games with the Penguins.

But Park was fifth at center on the team's depth chart at the end of last season and was frequently a healthy scratch. He likely would have been slotted behind Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Brandon Sutter and Joe Vitale at center on the depth chart during the 2012-13 season, and the Penguins never offered Park a contract.

Park, 36, has scored 102 NHL goals in 738 games. He started his career with the Penguins in 1995. The team drafted him in the second round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft.
