Dandy D:3B Pedro Alvarez made a diving stop, bounced to his feet and threw out Carlos Ruiz at first base in the fourth inning.

Ka-boom: The Phillies clubbed three solo homers against RHP Stolmy Pimentel. All of them rode the breeze blowing out to right field. The most impressive of the lot was Cody Asche's tape-measure shot in the fifth inning, which broke a 2-2 tie. In 14 starts (92 IP) last year at Triple-A Indianapolis, Pimentel allowed six home runs.

Stock up: RF Travis Snider has gotten seven hits in his last 15 at bats and is batting .333 (12 for 36) in 12 games.

Stock down:Andrew Lambo went 0 for 4, dropping his batting average to .095.
